Trick-or-Treat Street Held yearly at Nathan Hale Elementary School. Twenty “Trick-or-Treat Street Stops” are set up around the school and the children come around and pick up candy at each of the stops. Preparation and Serving of Thanksgiving dinner at Loaves and Fishes (Soup Kitchen) Chapter members volunteer to cut vegetables, set up tables, clean the hall, and then serve Thanksgiving dinner at the soup kitchen for those in need in the Enfield community. Christmas Wrapping for Enfield Hospice Chapter members volunteer to wrap Christmas presents for donations at the Enfield Square Mall to benefit the Enfield Hospice in the weeks before Christmas. Decorating Hall for Loaves and Fishes (Soup Kitchen) Loaves and Fishes holds a Christmas party for those in need. FBLA chapter members volunteer to decorate the hall on December 17, 2000. They set up Christmas trees, hang decorations, and prepare the hall for a party. CT Children’s Place Easter Party Near the time of Easter, chapter members volunteer to host a party at the CT Children’s Place at Warehouse Point. It is a home for children without families of their own. Members set up an Easter egg hunt, fill Easter baskets and play games with the children. |
