The 2001 Connecticut State
Leadership Conference
The Connecticut State Leadership
Conference was held on April 2, 2001 at the Ramada Inn in Meriden.
The annual State Leadership Conference
(SLC) is CT FBLA’s way of wrapping up the yearly program of work while
taking the first steps into the next year. There is something for everyone
at this conference, which includes:
 | The campaigns of all the prospective state officers,
along with the elections, appointment and installation of next year’s
State Officer Team. |
 | The wrap-up of the program of work of the State Officer
Team, including the final state committee reports detailing our success
over the past year as well as a fond farewell to our faithful state
officers. |
 | The state level of competition for the extensive FBLA
competitive events program with Connecticut’s finest business students
competing against each other in over fifty individual, team and chapter
events. Many of these events are also offered at the national level
through their Competitive Event Program, and top winners in those events
will have the opportunity to represent Connecticut State at the 2002
National Leadership Conference. |
 | Numerous workshops designed by students, advisers and
professionals to educate, motivate, and inspire our membership to make the
most of FBLA. |
Basic Competitive Event Guidelines:
A member may enter only ONE individual or team competitive
event with the following exceptions:
 | a member nominated for Who’s Who in FBLA can compete in
an individual or team event. |
 | members representing
their chapter in the preparation and/or presentation of chapter written
